Winter is here, my loves, and for sure, we all need to know, what’s Yay and what’s Nay right now. So here we go, read the most important trends in winter and how to style them.
Furry Furs all the way
Yeah, you got it right.
Furs are trendy as f*** and
come in XL versions just as the down jacket
(preferably in Red – more later). The good thing with XL is, that you have lots of space underneath for cozy pullovers and snuggly sweaters, so you FOR SURE have warm winter days. That is a huge plus in my opinion.
For the SILLPARK WINTERTRENDS SHOOTING I chose a VERY furry fake fur jacket, that really rocks every outfit. I styled it with a purple dress with lots of lacing and transparent sleeves – very romantic –
to include the second trend into this outfit:
the romantic one,
the baroque chic, as I call it.
Trend Accessoires:
Mini bag & Overknees
I wrote about the trend bag of the season already in this article: http://www.lasaraleona.com/glamstar-furry-mini-a-sassy-mixture-of-velvet-leather/ and for sure this trend piece will be convoying us longer than a week. It is all about Mini bags this Season.
As I wrote in the article above, they are very easy, but not functional, because you don’t have space at all.
But for a night out, they are perfect!
Combined with super trendy overknees
– I chose overknees in suede, because leather in any style is trend material this season –
they are a very hot match.
Completed with a laced purple dress, you are totally en vogue and ready to party!
Baroque Desires:
Erotically charged and reserved likewise!
Trés belle! As you might have noticed already, because this trend is overwhelming,
lacing,
embroidered goods,
flowers,
tulle,
ruffles
and transparent parts
are ruling the fashion industry right now.
And yep, those are typical styles for the baroque area. Pure romance, opulent embroidery, erotically charged, but very reserved
– love is a game, and in the baroque area it was a nasty one.
To show you how to style this see-it-everywhere-trend,
I put baroque styles in every of those three outfits, I styled.
That is indeed due to the fact,
that this trend is so possessive,
you can’t find a piece without baroque styles.
Anyway, I am really into this, so it is great, but I feel for everyone out there, who hates lacing and embroidery – bad season for you, guys…
I styled the Baroque Chic with…
a black high-waisted tulle skirt with embroidered flowers (such an adorable key piece!).
Additionally, I chose a black bra underneath (for the erotically charged moment – you can also wear a black croptop instead) and completed the look with a
rosé fake fur jacket and black leather boots with block heel.
Erotically charged AND reserved likewiese
– that is THE attitude of the season!
All Red – Power with some Ruffles
The third mega trend after XL fur and down jackets and baroque embroidery and lacing iiiis a colour – RED!
I wrote about this trend colour already in my „autumn trends“ article. You don’t remember that? Need a little reminder? For you always: http://www.lasaraleona.com/autumn-trends-colour-blocking-sexy-leather-rich-velvet-metallic-chic/
For this outfit at the SILLPARK WINTER TRENDS SHOOTING, I styled an
all-ruffled red blouse with high-waisted grey peg tops
(this is how this trousers are called) with a waist belt (an included one) and black leather boots again (they fit just everywhere, such functional shoes!).
I completed the powerful outfit with a – guess what? –
red down jacket in XL (uuuuhhhh, what a surprise).
Here’s the article from the NEXT Magazine:
It is a whole page this time – OMG!
And the link to the magazine’s e-paper (I am on PAGE 27):
